Sherri and Pete

I have known Pete for several years now, a lot more than I care to own up to. We like to give each other a hard time. Well, let me rephrase that. He likes to give me a hard time, and all the dorky things I say make it really easy for him. I had a blast hanging out with them for their engagement session, and enjoyed getting to know Sherri a little better. I especially enjoyed having some back up (and a little more amo) when I picked on Pete. We were all over Downtown OKC that evening.

We started off at the Stage Center. I had stopped shooting over here a few years ago, but I’m loving it again.

We walked over to the Myriad Gardens after that. The day was so beautiful. There were photographers everywhere!

I caught this in one of those “in between moments”. It’s so sweet.

Had to do a ring shot of course.

I can’t decide which I like better. Color, or black and white?

Congrats Sherri and Pete! Can’t wait to shoot you at your wedding! HA!!!!

Sarah + Matt = LOVE

Okay, that title was a little on the cheesy side. I had the privilege of photographing their wedding a few weeks ago, and am just now getting to post there sneak peek. That’s how crazy it’s been around these parts! The computer was sick, the kids were sick, and now it’s me. But I am feeling a little better now that my “To Do” list is slimming down (just in time for the holidays right?) I really enjoyed getting to know these two as I photographed their special day. Matt was cracking me up the majority of the time and Sarah is the one sweet lady! I have only known her a short time, but she has been through a lot in her life. She deserves to be happy.

These guys were a blast.  Pretty much up for anything I asked them to do and more!

The instigator of it all!

Sarah and their sweet, sweet baby girl.

I mentioned doing a “Trash the Dress” session to Sarah.  I think that she might do it.  I hope so, I would love to have those in my portfolio!

This was her mother’s handkerchief, who had passed away earlier this year.

awww…. I just love this one.

The cake had a light silver sparkle on it.  unfortunately I wasn’t able to capture it in camera.  I was really pretty.

Congratulations Matt and Sarah.  I wish you a lifetime of joy.

I had a blast hanging out with Katie last night as we made our way around downtown OKC.  I enjoyed getting to know her, she was easy going and a lot of fun to be around.  That makes for a great session!  I’m going to be short on words today, and let the pictures show you this beautiful young lady.   Enjoy your sneak peak Katie.

The image above was made possible with a little help from her mom and a minor trespassing violation or two. :-)

Nathan & Heather

Whew… this post has been a long time in coming. The last couple of months have been hectic, and things don’t look like there slowing down at all! Which is a good thing…. maybe. This post will be short on words but long on pictures. I have tons of catching up to do. Congratulations Nathan and Heather, may you have a long and blessed marriage.

I have to stop and comment here on how much I love the image on the right. It’s probably my favorite from the entire wedding. Actually brought tears to my eyes. Nathan was looking at Heather like this all the way down the aisle. You can see all the love he has for Heather, and the joy knowing that she is his wife!

Sneak Peak time!!

I got to meet up with these kiddos earlier this week.  I went to college with there mom… back in the day.  I think it was a Wednesday.  Wait, that’s not right.  Anyways.  So I have known the boys for about 9 years (that makes me feel really old).  I haven’t seen them in about  two or three years.  Let me just tell you; a lot changes in two or three years with boys.   But first let me introduce you to Miss A.  I personally think she one of the prettiest girls in town.   I couldn’t decide which conversion I like better… I just love the flowers.

She is just a couple of weeks older than my little girl.  Its a great age!

This is Mr. B.  He has AMAZING eyes.  Just beautiful, and he likes to hide them behind his bangs.  What can you do, he’s 14.

Mr. C  was super sweet.  He was willing to help me with my reflector and getting his brothers and sister to laugh.

And this is Mr. E.  What a great smile!  I could just stare at his picture for ever.  He was so easy going.

the trouble makers  boys….  Did I mention that they just adored little Miss A?  I didn’t?  Well from what I saw they do.

Zac and Kyla

Let me start off by saying how sweet this couple is.  If I remember correctly there first date lasted over 12 hours.  They spent all night in brick town talking, and finished there date by eating breakfast at IHOP.  Just look at how much love is on their faces.

My flash didn’t fire during there first kiss, but they didn’t mind redoing it for me!

The Abston’s

I met up with these two Monday night at one of my favorite places to do sessions.  They were a lot of fun to work with.  Chuck is also a photographer, so I was kind of nervous to do there pictures.  We don’t always like to be on the other side of the lens.  But he cooperated for his lovely wife (and me!).  So here are a few of my favorites from the session.  Hope that you enjoy!
